Lotus’s new Evora is a big step from their previous design of cars. They have modified the front end for added downforce and have centralized the intake from the front for less resistance and a low drag glass back instead of the tunnel back. The low drag glass back helps increase downforce in the back instead of a specific place where the air can only create a downforce in a certain spot. The front of the car is more aerodynamic because it is more of a arrow look. On the sides are a cut away sill to that the car moves easily.

BMW and VolksWagen are so far the only two car companies to have cars with a diesel engine in them. In a BMW X5 xDrive35d, the engine has a high-pressure direct injection system. This ensures the injection is clean, optimizes fuel consumption, emissions figures, and running smoothness. Next the exhaust particles are filtered. This filter removes even the smallest particles of nitric oxides without reducing engine power or increasing fuel consumption. There is no maintenance on the filter because it regenerates itself by incinerating the diesel particles. Next the exhaust is cleaned even more, by injecting a odorless cleaning solution into the exhaust. This is done with a dosing nozzle and the cleaning solution cleans the nitric oxides. Then finally, any remaining nitric oxide particles are left then they are into nitrogen and water vapor in the exhaust pipe. Sadly Volkswagen doesn’t say what they do to make the diesel clean.

Hydrogen cars are the most efficient, economically, and environmentally  of getting around. Car companies have made a hydrogen vehicle but have not put it into production. Ford and BMW are some of the companies that has made a hydrogen vehicle. These vehicles put out water vapor as in thats what their exhaust is. There are also diesel cars that put out less emissions. BMW and Volks Wagen has already made these cars. The process of the exhaust being cleaner is going through a filter system that gets rid of most of the CO2. It has a better impact on the environment.
